Real Eyelash Growth
It’s been said that the eyes are the “window to the soul.” If this is true, don’t you want to showcase your most expressive facial feature in the best way possible? If you feel like your eyes fall flat due to insufficient eyelashes, now there is an FDA-approved prescription treatment to help you put your best eyes forward.
Colorado Ophthalmology Associates is proud to offer LATISSE® treatments in our Denver and Lakewood locations.
How LATISSE Works
LATISSE is a liquid medication that is applied to clean upper eyelashes each night. The solution is not applied on the lower lashes; it will spread to these lashes as you blink. Longer, thicker, fuller lashes will begin to become noticeable in approximately 2 months.
Side Effects of LATISSE
LATISSE treatments can produce eye irritation such as redness, itching or dryness. It is also possible to have an allergic reaction to LATISSE. Patients who have eye pressure problems should inform their doctor before starting a LATISSE treatment. It is important to keep the medication only on the eyelashes, as unwanted hair growth may occur in other areas.
There is no downtime with LATISSE, and you can continue wearing mascara during the day during your treatment time. If you discontinue use of LATISSE, your lashes will return to their normal appearance.
